Since the day Easton was born Brandon and I have done our best to keep him inside the house and only take him out when it is really necessary especially on the crappy weather days. Well this past Sat. we noticed that Easton had started a runny nose and a small cough. Sunday morning he woke up and was not quite his normal self (not quite as talkative) and still had the cough and now a stuffy nose. We put him down for his morning nap and he woke up early crying and upset. I went and got him and patted his back to see if he just had a gas bubble, which is normally the case, nope that was not it. He just continued to cry so I tried to feed him to see if for some reason he was hungary. Nope that was not it either. The poor little thing just wanted me to hold him really tight and he went back to sleep. I continued to try to feed him when he would wake up for a min but he would just cry and not eat. So I would hold him tight again and he would go back to sleep. Well Brandon and I felt his forhead and he seemed a little warm so Brandon went to his sisters to borrow her thermometer. Luckily Easton was only a little warm 99.5 so nothing to really stress about. I called his pediatrician, and he told me that Easton has RSV!! :( That broke my heart. He said that it was a mild case and that we could just watch him at home to see how he did. We decided to take Easton down to my work and check his Oxygen to make sure that was ok. It was perfect, one of the doctors that I work with was kind enough to take a quick peak at him and listen to his lungs and check his ears. Eveything looked and sounded great so he said to just keep him inside and wash our hands lots. Whew, Brandon and I felt much better after all of this. Easton slept for about 8 hours or so during the day (only with me holding him, he would not let me put him down) then he woke up, ATE and then wanted to talk and play a little bit. we are so grateful that he his getting better. He still has his cough and stuffy nose but his cute little personality is back. It stresses me out that even though I thought I was taking every precaution to keep him from getting sick this young my efforts seemed worthless. We are just grateful that he did not get worse and have to go to Primary Childrens. Well I get to stay home all week and just spend time with our little guy so he can fully recover and not risk getting worse. Here are some cute pictures of our little guy. Enjoy
Isn't this face so sad :( this was the day he was really sick.

This is him feeling so much better, doing tummy time

Poor little man. Luke got sick for the first time at 5 months, but you have to remember he was born in May. However, he has been sick all winter with cold after cold. I hate when they are sick!
He is too cute. Already a little man. I am so sorry. You really have been careful. I don't know how that stupid bug got into your home. I am glad to hear that he is doing better. We will come and visit as soon as the little ones are 100% better. Call me if you need ANYTHING!
Hope your little guy gets feeling better. He is so cute!
I hate it when they are sick. You just wish that you could make it all better.
Poor guy. That is no fun. I hope he gets better soon.
