Easter & update on Mom

This Easter has been SO much fun! Easton has loved every minute of it and we have had som much fun putting it all together! Yesterday we colored Easter eggs at Brandon's parents house and Easton had so much fun, he only wanted to color with the Blue and Green! Instead of using a spoon or the egg dipper he decided it was much easier to just use his hands so he ended up dying his hands green! It was so funny! About 20 hand washes later we got his hands clean! We also headed up to the hospital and set up an egg dying station on my Mom's hospital tray! My parents and Easton had fun coloring Easter eggs! It was good to be able to see my Mom smile and have a little fun!

Today we started the day out by Easton doing an Easter egg Hunt at our house! He had so much fun, he just ran around the house and grabbed all the eggs! He loved all his "candy". Next came church, Easton's Easter outfit was a handsome 4 piece suit! After his nap we headed up to the hospital where the "Easter Bunny" visited and left Easton some eggs to find and a lightning McQueen backpack and some stickers! Brandon had come up with the idea last night that since my Mom was in the hospital and unable to do her own Easter at her house that we would bring it to her! So we saved some of his Easter to take up there! It worked out great and made my Mom smile! Then we headed to Brandon's parents and celebrated Easter. Ended with another Easter egg hunt, even 3 times later Easton still had just as much fun!! Over all it turned out to be a great Easter!

We also had the opportunity to got to Mt. Timpanogos Temple and see my Brother Dustin and his Fiance Gabby go through the temple to receive their endowments! My Grandpa and Grandma VanOs were also able to be there! It was a good experience but also hard because my Dad and Mom could not be there!

Update on my Mom, Since I have last written Mom was able to get out of the ICU and was making progress. On April 21st I was told that they had to take Mom into surgery again. She has been getting frequent nose bleeds ever since the surgery. They have been really bad ones. They have been unable to get them to stop so they decided she needed surgery. Well they could not get the bleeding to stop during surgery so they ended up giving her a 1 unit blood transfusion and some platelets. This made the bleeding finally stop. They moved her back to ICU for the night so that she would have a nurse dedicated to just watching her. They were able to move her back to her room the following day. We are constantly be told different things about when she will be released. My brother Dustin gets married this coming Saturday the 30th. My Mom's doctor told her that they could possibly send a nurse with her to my brothers wedding or reception. We are hoping and praying that she will just be out of the hospital!

Well here are a couple of pics!

I am sorry I haven't called to check up on your mom, I know my busy schedule should not get in the way of that. I keep updated from facebook and your blog and I hope she gets out soon. I love you and your family and hope that if you or any of you need anything you will please let me know. I am keeping you all in my prayers and think of you daily.
