6th HCG

Well today while at work at about 1:20pm I had a little brown and pinkish discharge. I immediately called Dr. England's office. I also told them about the pain I have been having over the past 3 days. They said that this still sounds normal but to take it really easy for a few days, drink lots of water and take Tylenol. I told her that I would feel a lot better if we could do my HCG level again so we can make sure it has doubled in the past 3 days. She said that would be a good idea. I went and had the blood test done and then came home to rest. I noticed that I had a kind of stringy dark maroon colored discharge this time. That of course has me more concerned now.

I must admit I am kind of frustrated that Dr. England is not wanting to do an U/S to make sure that there is a baby and that there are no cysts. I know that they would not be able to hear the heart beat yet but it would be good to at least know.

Well I hope to hear back today what my HCG results are but if not it will be tomorrow.

Dr. England's office called me and said my level was 926 and Dr. England said that was normal and he feels things are going fine. I asked her "even though the number did not quite double it is still normal?" She told me that Dr. England said normal is the level raising more than 60% each day so I am still in the normal range. I told her about the mucous and she said just to watch for any bright red blood and call them otherwise they will see me next week at my 7 week appointment.
I am some what relieved that my levels at least went up but kind of still concerned since they did not more than double like they have been. Well now it is just time to relax and wait until my appointment next week! RELAX is the key word!

Well it is now time for bed! I have not had any bleeding since earlier when I had the mucous. So I am very much relieved. We decided to tell Brandon's parents and my parents. Brandon told his parents that he had an announcement to make, then he told them that we have decided to move to Midway (this is our personal dream place to live) it took his Mom awhile to process it and then she totally fell for it. Then Brandon told them the truth that we are having a baby. They were excited. I called my Mom and asked what she was doing and she said working on making some burp clothes. I said you want to make some for us? She said sure I am going to make a bunch and then you guys can pick some out. I said well how about for April? She caught on and said really that is awesome! I had to call my Dad separate cause he is at work. He was excited. Now if things can just go well!
