BUSY

Last week was a busy week! It honestly was nice to keep busy since it kept my mind distracted. We decided to update Easton's room. He is still REALLY into Disney Cars so that is the theme we went with. We painted his room on Labor day with the help of Brandon's family. We painted the lower half a blueish gray and the chair rail red. Then we put up some vinyl Disney Cars stickers.

We bought a twin sized Loft bed from Ashley Furniture and it arrived Tuesday morning. We had to do some rearranging in his room to get the massive bed (compared to the toddler bed) to fit. Easton was so excited. He played on it for days and still goes in there to play. I have pictures and will post them once we get the finishing touches done.

I have picked up a few shifts the next couple of weeks at work so today I decided to just hang out with my little man! I asked him if he wanted to hang out today and he said "yeah Mom we are buddies!" It was so cute! We headed to the Aquarium first! Easton loves that place. Since we have a membership it is so nice to just go whenever. He still will not touch the sting rays but he loves watching them swim and watching me touch them. Then we headed to the mall. I was planning on letting him play in the dinosaur park and water pool but he had another thing planned. We walked in and he went straight for the Elevator. I asked him why and he said "so I can get a pretzel!" So cute, how could you resist. He ate the entire thing all by himself. We had fun just walking around (of course a little window shopping) and then playing. After going home and napping we headed to our neighborhood park and then home to relax and watch the movie "Rio"

I LOVE being a Mom and would not trade it for anything! He says the cutest things and is so thoughtful! I can't believe that he will be turning 3 in 2 months! Time has gone by so quickly!

I will post some pictures soon
