Disneyland 2010 Part 1!!! All the details and pictures!

We are currently in Disneyland and Easton is asleep so I wanted to get some blogging done. We left on Tuesday April 27th at 7AM. We had to wake Easton up early to head out. He was a bit confused as to why we woke him up but did not get cranky. We met up with Brandon's whole family on the freeway and we made only 2 stops on the way to Las Vegas. Easton stayed awake the whole time. He just talked and talked and played with toys. He never once even got fussy the whole 7 1/2 hour trip. Once we got checked into the Palace Station Hotel we laid Easton down for a nap and he crashed for 3 hours!

We left for Disneyland Wednesday morning at around 11am Vegas time. This trip seemed so much longer than the trip to Vegas. However Easton once again did great. He crashed 5 min after we left Vegas and took an 1 1/2 hour nap. He would have slept longer except we had to stop at the California border. We arrived at Disneyland in perfect time to check in to the Paradise Pier Hotel right by Disneyland and then headed straight over to California Adventures to see the Pixar Parade. Easton, Lexi and Brayden liked the parade however Easton was really not to sure what to think of all the oversized Disney characters. I think it was alot for him to take in.
This is Easton getting excited when he saw the parade starting!

Thursday Brandon and his Dad had to head to the John Wayne airport to pick up Nate so the rest of us got all the kids ready and headed to Disneyland. It was nice because the park was not to busy yet. So we were able to see Woody and Jesse walking in a part of the park that is not too busy. We had left the cameras with Brandon's mom so the kids just got to meet them and then we ran back and got the cameras and got some fun pics with Woody and Jesse. Easton was so shy but he did not cry he just dug his head into my shoulder and gave woody Hi five. Then we were able to take the kids on the Winnie the Pooh ride a couple of times and then were even able to get the kids pics taken with Pooh, Tigger and Eyeore! Easton was just as shy around them as well but Brandon was able to catch up with us in time to take pics with them. The rest of the day was spent taking the kids on all the different rides. Easton actually enjoyed them so it made it really fun to take him.

He was not to sure what to think of this ride but he did like that he could make it go up or down in the air.

Friday we got a late start but once again headed back to Disneyland. We took the kids on a couple of rides and ate some lunch and then the entire family went on the Nemo submarine ride. That seriously has to be Easton's favorite ride. He is currently in this stage where he absolutely LOVES anything with FISH. He is always asking me for "fish" He got so stinkin excited to be on that ride! He was clapping his hands and screaming fish and just giggling! It was so stinking cute! We of course bought him a Finding Nemo cup at the souvenir store and he carries that thing everywhere. Easton crashed shortly after that ride and then slept until the Disney Promenade started. That was also alot for him to take in, especially since he had just woken up from his nap but it was a very interactive parade and he was able to participate with his cousin Lexi. We headed back to the hotel earlier this day with some very tired children. Brandon, his parents, Nate and Braxton all went to Bubba Gumps for dinner while Steve, Candice, Lexi, Brayden, Easton and I all stayed behind to play a little in the pool and get the kids to be early. The pool was FREEZING due to the wind but Easton still loved to play in the kid pool despite his body shivers! He downed a whole slice of Pizza for dinner, trust me that is alot for this kid to eat! Then after a bath with his cousin Lexi he went to bed and slept really well that night!

Saturday (that's today :) We decided that we were all wanting a day of relaxation. So today we headed to Huntington beach and had some fun at the Ocean. I absolutely love the ocean so I was excited for this part of the trip. After dealing with the lovely Californian crazy drivers and me driving poor Brandon crazy with my gasping when people would suddenly brake or cut us off, we made it to the beach. The weather was not the warmest but the skies were clear and the beach not to crowded so it was really nice. Easton loved the water despite it being quite cold but he just got his feet wet. Most of all however he loved playing in the Sand with is dad and with his cousin Lexi. I got to be the photographer and absolutely loved capturing our childs adorable personality. Once we started to head back to our hotel Easton crashed with a cracker in one hand and a snack jar in the other. Once back to the hotel Easton went swimming with Grandpa and Grandma while and Brandon and I headed to the grocery store. Later we went to dinner with the whole family at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney and then home to the hotel for a bath and bed. Well we plan to head out extra early tomorrow for early entrance to the parks so I am going to head to bed. I will continue part 2 of this blog later!
