Happy 4th of July

We here at the Olson home have had a very busy couple of weeks! My brother Tyler married Whitney June 26th. So on the 25th we had a dinner for them at the Golden Corral. It was just our's and Whitney's immediate family and grandparents! It was a nice little get together. Then on Saturday the 26th my sister's and I went and got our hair done for the wedding together. It was some fun bonding time for the 3 of us! The wedding was at 5 pm at the The Gathering Place at Gardner Village. We got there just in time to get Easton ready and get our seats. The wedding ceremony was nice, then we headed outside for lots of pictures and eventually back inside for the usual traditions and some dancing. It was a fun wedding and Easton did REALLY well! We were able to stay until 10pm. That night at about 3 AM Easton woke up with a 102.7 fever! So I held him for the remainder of the night so that he could get some sleep! The next day his fever stayed around 101 but came down with IBU and Tylenol. Monday his fever was only in the 99's so not to bad. His top eye teeth came in at the end of may but were still trying to finish coming in and his bottom eye teeth were swollen so that is what we figured his temp was from.

This past Friday July 2nd Brandon and I both got the day off from work and decided to take Easton for the day and have some family time with just the 3 of us! Our 1st stop was to the Hub in Heber, our favorite place for breakfast! Easton just had fun playing while he sat/stood on the bench seat with us! Next we headed to Deer Creek to play in the water! Easton thought it was great! He absolutely loves the water so he had fun just splashing in it and seeing how far out he could walk! Next we headed up American Fork Canyon by taking the Alpine Loop! Poor Brandon had to hear me get nervous every time a car came around the corner. Once we got there we found a spot with a table and set up some chairs so that Brandon and Easton could fish! Easton first decided that he should play on the bridge near by, he had a blast running up and down the small him that lead up to the bridge! Then he got his 1st fishing experience! He does not quite have a long enough attention span but he did good trying to learn. It was really windy so that made fishing not very easy, but Easton did not care he just grabbed my hand and had me help him play in the river. Then we headed back home for a nap! Once he was awake we headed to the West Jordan Carnival and Rodeo. We met up with Brandon's family so Easton rode some of the rides with his cousin Lexi! He had fun with that! Then started the Rodeo. Easton at that point was very tired so he really did not want to sit still he just wanted me to hold him. We stayed long enough to watch our Niece Lexi doing the Muttin Bustin ie sheep riding! She was so cute, she could not hold on very long but did so good! Well that ended that night for us!! Like I said it was quite the busy day!

Saturday was much less busy! We got to sleep in a little and relax and then headed out for some grocery shopping! We bought Easton a Toy Store 3 Buzz cell phone and some cups! His favorite thing to say lately is Buzz! It is so stinking cute! He loves his cup! Then later that night we headed out to Stansbury to watch Brandon coach All stars Baseball! They won 1 of their games so that means they will continue to play until they lose again! Then we headed to Brandon's parents for some fireworks! Easton was not to sure what to think of them at first but eventually he liked them!

Today is the official holiday and was a nice day! We were all able to attend Sacrament meeting together! Usually we have to put Easton down for his nap during our church block but today he was able to make it through a little bit and then I took him home for his nap. We headed to my Brother Tyler and Whitney's house for a BBQ, volleyball & horseback riding. We all had alot of fun! Well here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks! Enjoy!

You guys had a busy weekend! It looks like it was so much fun! I didn't know they were having their wedding at the Gathering Place, that is where my brother's wedding reception was! It is a beautiful building :)
