This is a long one!!!
Wow it is seriously already August!! I can not even believe it! July was and EXTREMELY busy month for us! Brandon and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary a week early on July 9th. We started the day off 1st by taking Easton to see Toy Story 3! He absolutely loves Buzz lightyear so he enjoyed the movie, however I think he enjoyed playing on the stairs of the theatre a little more. Then we took Easton over the Brandon's parents for the night. We headed off to After Hours Medical since Brandon stepped on a fishing hook the night before and he needed his Tetanus shot. This was Brandon's year to plan our anniversary (we try to switch off every year) so he surprised me and took us to dinner at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. For those who like me have no idea what kind of place this is, it is a very fancy steakhouse. We were seated at a table in the corner of the restaruant and they had put rose petals on the table and a card that said Happy Anniversary. I seriously can not say enough about this place the Steak was AMAZING! They cook it at 1800 degrees on both sides. They only cook it with butter, parsley and salt and pepper. Then they serve it to you an a 500 degree plate so that it stays warm throughout the whole meal. Delicious pretty much sums it up! You do not even need steak sauce. Man my mouth is drooling just remembering this. Next stop, we headed to Anniversary Inn on South West temple. We got the Mountain Hideaway room. Well we realized that we really needed to walk off some our dinner so we decided to go to Gateway and window shop for a little while. It was nice to just get to walk leisurely around and not have to hurry. Then we headed back to enjoy our room at the hotel. I of course forgot my camera so no pictures but enjoyed the room. We had discussed buying each other gift's this year but never really came up with a for sure decision. Well I got up and got a drink and when I came back Brandon had placed a small box on the bed. Diamond earrings!! I seriously could not believe it. I have mentioned that I wanted some but honestly did not think it would be possible for a few years. I was so excited that I cried!! That and I felt so bad that I did not have anything for Brandon. It was nice to be able to spend some time together with just the two of us.

The 15th and 16th I got to participate in youth conference. Then the afternoon of our Offical Anniversary the 16th I took Brandon to Archibalds for lunch. Then we headed to Jared jewelers to get my rings cleaned. While we were waiting for that we decided to run to Toy's R Us to shop for Easton. We wanted to get him some Toy Story stuff. Long story short we came out with plenty and then some. We did get one thing that we wanted to for his birthday. Then we picked Easton up and took him to Cabela's to see the fish. He still love's fish so he of course really enjoyed that. Our anniversary was really good this year, especially since we got to celebrate it 2 times!

Once our Anniversary was done it was time to pack for Girl's camp which was the 19th-23rd. (Mon-Fri). Brandon stayed home with Easton most of the week and then Brandon's parents watched Easton the rest. I got to head up to the Stake Center Monday morning at 7am to load on the buses and head up to camp at Heber Valley Camp. We had 9 girl's this year. We got to share our camp site with another ward. We were small enough that we fit all of us in 1 cabin. It was a really fun week, we did a ropes course and some fun crafts. We also had time to just relax and get to know all the girls. Despite the late nights with the girls talking about the boys they really like and the 6 AM mornings I had such a good time. I missed Brandon and Easton so much but was glad that they were able to get to spend time together and bond. I was able to find a spot close to camp where I could get service so I was able to talk to them for a few minutes each day so that made it easier. I have only left Easton for 1 night so to leave him for 4 1/2 days was a long time. Thursday was absolutely amazing, there was a spirit that just came over the camp. We started off the day with a hike to a meadow where the girl's were all able to have "Solo" time and read letters from their mothers, the bishop, the Stake Young Women's and also our ward Young Women's leader. Then we headed off to the lake and were able to do some canoeing. Then we headed back to camp and everyone got camp cleaned up for the Bishop and his wife. It was also one of our Girl's birthday so we celebrated that as well. We had a stake devotional that was provided by our Stake president and his presidency. President homes did a rap of the mission lessons that I made sure to record. Then he did a talk about "I'm in" I will have to tell more about that later, he gave everyone a challenge to read the Book of Mormon for just 5 minutes each day which would mean you would read it 2 times a year. We then did the traditional singing tree's and then headed back to our campfire and did our Testimony meeting. I really really love my calling and enjoyed getting to participate in Girl's Camp.

I returned from Girl's camp Friday morning and then we began the Holiday weekend. Overall July was a good and busy month. We also celebrated 4 birthdays and had a party to meet a cousin and her family that we recently found out about. Her name is Krista and she sought out my Uncle Bart which is her Dad. This was a good family get together to meet her and her Husband and their 2 kids.

Wow, I will end on that note. This was a long one but no time to really write in my Journal so I figured I had better get type it up. Enjoy the pictures!
