23 Months

Easton will be 23 month's old tomorrow! This past weekend Easton accomplished alot!! We have been successful in potty training! We started on Friday since I had 5 days off in a row! We sat him on the potty right after he woke up in the morning and just told him to push. He went both pee and poop!! So awesome! So we gave him lots of juice and then every 15 min took him up to the potty! He went almost every time we took him and had only 4 accidents all day. However he started getting frustrated with us since we took him so often. Well a friend of mine was also potty training her daughter and had read a book called the 3 day potty training method. So we read it and decided that it was a good plan and decided to try it! It worked great. The book basically states not to sit him on the potty every 15 min and not to constantly ask him if he needed to go potty. Instead give him more liquids than normal and tell him "tell mommy if you need to go potty ok?" and tell him this a hundred times all day. Also ask him to check if he is dry and then be very excited for him if he is! It also requested that you be by his side all day for 3 days straight so that you could catch every accident! I did not do it that strict. He has done awesome. He was dry during his nap yesterday, woke up dry this morning and had only one accident this morning!
We also transitioned his crib to a toddler bed! He loves it! He has only fallen out once and then we fixed it so that would not happen again! The past couple of weeks he has started to give more attitude and sarcastic facial expressions! He knows how to scowl at me or give me a look like "yeah right Mom!"
