Fishes, Lizards and a trip on the train!

This past week has been an eventful one. Late last Saturday night we got a call from my Mom informing me that my brother Tyler was on his way to the hospital by ambulance. He has recently taken up Bull riding so he was riding and was bucked off and then stepped on/ kicked three times. He tried to get up but passed out. Brandon's parents came over and we headed up to Mckaydee Hospital in Ogden. When we got there we were told that he had 2 broken ribs, a punctured lung and a lacerated spleen. Luckily he was wearing a helmet or the bull would have crushed his skull. He spent the night in the ICU and then 2 more nights in a regular room. He is improving and doing much better.

On Thursday I invited my parents to come with Easton and I to the Living Planet Aquarium. Easton had so much fun, he put his hand in the water with the Sting Rays but would not touch them. He loved seeing all the fishes and the Sea Turtle. I think he talked "papa" into taking him back into see the Sea Turtles about 6 times! Once we were done with that we went to lunch at Easton's favorite place "MaDonalds"

Friday we went with Brandon's Family to see the Movie "Rango" I must say in our opinion that was the worst movie! Besides being able to see the trailer for the movie Cars 2, which Easton Loves, it was so boring. Easton went stir crazy so I had to take him out towards the end of the movie and I must admit that I did not mind missing the end!

Saturday Brandon and I decided to take Easton on Trax. Easton loves the train and gets excited about it every time we cross the tracks! We got on at the Sandy station. Once the train started his little face just lit right up. He got such a big smile! We stopped at Gateway and walked around, he enjoyed going up and down the Escaltors and then off course we took him over to the water fountain to play in. He loved it, he kept trying to step on the holes that spray the water. We then headed over the The California Pizza Kitchen for Dinner. Then it was back on the Trax to head home. It was a nice little Family time for the 3 of us.

I of course took my camera along for our adventures so here are some fun pictures!
