The July 4th weekend we had a few events. Brandon's boss Kevin and his wife invited us over for dinner and then fireworks at Riverton park. Some of our old neighbors Jeremy and Cheri came with their kids as well. It was a good night. Easton became good friends with Kevin, which if anyone knows him that is a big deal for him to even talk to someone that he does not know. Every year we have talked about going to fireworks at Riverton park and this year we finally went. Kevin had saved seats earlier in the day so we were right underneath the fireworks. Easton loved them!
On July 4th we went with Brandon's family to the West Jordan Parade in which our Niece Lexi was riding on one of the floats. Besides seeing her that was the WORST parade I have ever been to. Then we headed to Sandy City and Easton got his face painted and then played on the blow up slides and got a fish animal balloon. That night we headed to Jordan High and watched the Sandy City fireworks. Easton had fun with his Grandpa and cousins doing sparklers and snaps while we waited. Easton was not as into these fireworks. I think it was just because they were not as close so it was easy to get distracted.
The next weekend we took a trip to Thanksgiving point farm with just the 3 of us.
Next Brandon went to Washington D.C on a business trip and I headed to girls camp. Easton got to spend time with both Grandparents while we were gone.
I also got to go to lunch with my my sisters and Mom for my Mom's 50th birthday!
Later that week we celebrated my Mom's 50th birthday at her house. Easton got to swim, we had dinner and homemade icecream and then did some fireworks. (I forgot my camera for this one)
On July 16th we celebrated our 7 year anniversary!! Since Brandon had just returned from his work trip we just hung out with the 3 of us and went to dinner! It was really nice. We will be celebrating it with just the 2 of us sometime in August. I can not believe that it has been 7 Years since I married my best friend and Eternal companion! He has stuck by me through thick and thin. He is such a hard worker and an amazing father!

On July 20th my Mom was officially put on the Heart Transplant list!! She has the #1 spot and is a universal recipient. So that makes her chances of getting a heart soon much higher. We are so excited that she is finally on the list.
Easton had a playdate with his cousin Lexi at our house! They had a blast, swimming and eating lunch outside!
Over the Pioneer day we went up American Fork to Little Mill campground and went camping with just the 3 of us! Easton was so excited about each and every aspect of it. Our tent has a little dog tunnel. Easton took that over as his own personal "tent" He had fun fishing, playing on the logs, going on walks and hikes and roasting marshmallows. Brandon's family came up to visit to and he enjoyed playing with his cousins.
On July 30th we did the Heart Walk at Sugar House park for my Mom. We were supposed to be there by 7:45 and I set an alarm but for some reason I turned my volume down to low so we woke up to a text message at 7:30! Shockingly we were able to get out the door by 7:45 but we did not make it there before the start of the walk. It was some good exercise. Easton rode in the stroller at first but once he saw his Aunt Candice running he wanted to run as well. He told me to run with them and so I did and then he told me that I could not run cause he was just running with his Aunt Candice.
Crazy long hair, I did some funky hair so we could document just how long his hair is! We finally had his hair cut after almost 6 months of growing it out! It has been so long that he did not enjoy the hair cut at all! I personally like it a little longer since the short makes him look so much older.
And finally but certainly not last. Last night we took Easton to the Bluffdale Rodeo and he got to do Mutton Bustin. For those who do not know what that is, it is sheep riding. We were so proud of him. He got all ready and climbed on the sheep and held on tight. About 5 seconds later he looked up at me and cried saying no and the cowboy who was helping told him that he would help. Easton said "k" I am not sure whether he rode the sheep or the cowboy. He had a death grip on the cowboys shirt! It was so cute! He was so proud after word and thought it was the greatest thing that he got a trophy. Today he carried the trophy around saying "I ride this sheep"
Well that is our July! I don't think we have ever had this busy of a month. Today I think was one of our only relaxing days. We went to church and then just hung out at home and had Sunday dinner and enjoyed each others company.
