Life

It has been awhile since I have simply updated how life is going so I figure it is about time.

My Mom has been in the hospital for 13 weeks now. She was able to move out of the ICU early last week, they were making plans for her to go home hopefully before christmas. On Friday we were informed that she has another infection, they ran cultures and informed us that it was a Staph infection. Due to her being on anti rejection meds for her heart they are concerned about the infection going to her heart since the meds suppress her immune system. They got her on antibiotics and had to take her off of Dialysis for a few days. She seems to be improving and still hopes to be home in time for Christmas. We continue to hope and pray that this is a possibility for her.
We were able as a family to take Thanksgiving dinner up to the hospital and eat it with my parents. The staff got us a room that we were able to use and they assigned Mom a Nurse who came with her down to eat with all of us. It was great to be able to spend the time with her outside of the ICU.

I have an appointment with a Maternal Fetal Medicine doctor at the end of this month and hope to get answers about why I am able to get pregnant but not able to keep the pregnancies. I have been on a roller coaster ride of emotions these past few months. I want to grow our family so bad yet I know that it has to be in the Lord's timing. I just hope that things will happen soon.

Easton is such a chatterbox. He has the cutest personality and makes me smile every day. He has learned how to ask questions and it is so funny the things he asks. I need to make a list of what he says so I can remember this cute stage. He still LOVES anything and everything that is Disney Cars. His list for Santa continues to grow. He plays cars pretty much all day. He also loves to help me do things around the house. He picks up after himself really well and never really argues when I ask him to clean up.

I am currently working 3 days a week to help pay off some bills. We are hoping to get my hours down soon. Brandon had LASIK eye surgery last week so he no longer has to wear glasses. I am sure he liked to wear his finger printed glasses (courtesy of Easton)but I think he loves being able to see clearly without them. Well for now this is all I will write but eventually I will find the time to add some pictures.
